Participating Brokerage Tuition Reimbursement Disclosure
Hawaiʻi Real Estate License School (HRELS), LLC DBA Real Estate Pro Academy
may provide information about tuition reimbursement opportunities offered through one or more participating brokerages.
This tuition reimbursement opportunity is separate from Real Estate Pro Academy’s tuition, refund policy, course completion requirements, and licensing education program. It is not a guarantee of reimbursement, employment, brokerage affiliation, licensure, income, or real estate transaction success.
Separate from the School Refund Policy
Tuition reimbursement is not a refund from Real Estate Pro Academy unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement signed by the school.
Refunds, cancellations, transfers, rescheduling, and format changes are governed by the separate Real Estate Pro Academy Refund Policy. A student who does not qualify for, does not receive, or is not approved for tuition reimbursement is not entitled to a school refund unless the student independently qualifies under the Refund Policy.
Participating Brokerage Program
A participating brokerage may choose to offer tuition reimbursement to eligible students or newly licensed agents as part of its own recruiting, onboarding, or professional development program.
Participation by a brokerage is voluntary. A brokerage may choose whether to participate, which eligibility requirements apply, how much may be reimbursed, when reimbursement may be paid, and what conditions must be satisfied.
Real Estate Pro Academy may provide general information about participating brokerage opportunities, but the participating brokerage is responsible for its own reimbursement terms, approval decisions, brokerage agreements, and payment obligations.
Student Freedom of Brokerage Choice
Enrollment in Real Estate Pro Academy does not require a student to affiliate with any particular brokerage. Students remain free to interview with, affiliate with, or decline affiliation with any brokerage of their choice.
Participation or non-participation in a tuition reimbursement opportunity does not affect the school’s instruction, grading, final examination administration, course completion review, or issuance of a Course Completion Certificate.
No Automatic Eligibility or Guarantee
Tuition reimbursement is not guaranteed by enrollment, payment of tuition, class attendance, course completion, passing the school final examination, receiving a Course Completion Certificate, passing the PSI licensing examination, obtaining a real estate license, interviewing with a brokerage, applying to join a brokerage, or affiliating with a brokerage.
Eligibility, approval, reimbursement amount, timing, good-standing requirements, transaction requirements, and payment conditions must be confirmed in a separate written agreement or policy issued by the participating brokerage.
Typical Eligibility Conditions
Although each participating brokerage may set its own requirements, tuition reimbursement may require completion of a Real Estate Pro Academy pre-licensing course, passing the applicable PSI licensing examination, receiving licensure approval, affiliation with a participating brokerage, completion of brokerage onboarding requirements, continued good standing, and successful closing of a qualifying first real estate transaction through the participating brokerage.
A qualifying first transaction means a closed real estate transaction that satisfies the participating brokerage’s written reimbursement requirements. The participating brokerage may define what types of transactions qualify, when a transaction is considered closed, what documentation is required, and whether reimbursement is available for sales, leases, property management, referral transactions, or other brokerage activities.
Reimbursement Amount and Excluded Costs
The reimbursement amount, eligible tuition amount, excluded costs, timing, and payment method are determined by the participating brokerage in writing.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, tuition reimbursement should not be interpreted to include optional printed materials, books, shipping, administrative fees, payment processing fees, third-party fees, taxes, discounts, promotional credits, late fees, retake fees, tutoring fees, continuing education fees, exam preparation subscriptions, licensing application fees, PSI examination fees, association dues, MLS fees, E&O insurance, brokerage startup fees, marketing costs, or other non-tuition costs.
No Employment, Income, or Transaction Guarantee
Real Estate Pro Academy and any participating brokerage do not guarantee employment, independent contractor affiliation, real estate license approval, income, commission earnings, leads, clients, listings, buyers, rentals, referrals, transactions, closings, or professional success.
Real estate brokerage affiliation is subject to separate brokerage review, interview, approval, licensing status, independent contractor agreements, brokerage policies, and applicable laws and rules.
Separate Written Agreement Controls
This disclosure explains the general nature of participating brokerage tuition reimbursement opportunities. It does not create a reimbursement obligation by itself.
If a student or licensee is offered tuition reimbursement, the specific written agreement, policy, or disclosure from the participating brokerage controls the eligibility requirements, reimbursement amount, timing, and payment conditions.
